With a title worthy of  a Daily Star and Mirror editor, I am pleased to advise that the Popular Posts sidebar now excludes Pages from its count.

This arose after complaints from certain members of the site who will remain anonymous, that the popular Posts list wasn’t very useful as their post about “teaching an old dog new tricks” was showing below the front page and always would because it was the front page and gets all the hits…. I have changed the code to only display posts and not pages.

This should make the stats a little more meaningful.

And they didn’t really complain :-)
